Third Party Warehousing and Fulfillment Module
The Multi-Retailer module allows the Realtime Despatch applications to support third-party fulfillment. Organisations whose business is seasonal can use the software to provide warehousing and fulfillment services to other businesses when they have spare capacity.
The module allows multiple retailers to be defined within the system. The system will receive order information in multiple formats and allow the fulfillment process for each to be tailor made.
Warehouse locations can be made available to any retailer or associated to just one. When a location is associated with retailer it is not possible for it to hold stock belonging to any other retailer. In this way any number of different 'logical warehouses' can be created, with each one having exclusive use of the locations they are associated with.
Payment receipts, Email notifications and labels can be individually tailored so that the fulfillment process reflects the brand of each retailer.
If required, the web based architecture makes it possible to give retailer's responsibility for creating and validating their own orders within the system.
