Sage 200 integration
Roundhouse Software have developed a Sage 200 module that exports supplier purchase orders to OrderFlow and imports details of the associated deliveries as they are received.
The OrderFlow users in the warehouse staff can see when stock should be arriving and the Sage users in the accounts department can see the status of all pending and completed deliveries.

Royal Mail COSS
OrderFlow's courier integration options have been expanded to include the COSS interface.
Suited to high volume environments the COSS interface is being pushed hard by Royal Mail as the appropriate solution for large etailers and fulfilment houses who want to use the new Tracked and Tracked Next Day services.

Work starts on our MetaPack interface
Since the launch of OrderFlow we've had repeated requests for MetaPack support. We met MetaPack last week, studied the 3.x API and have now started work.
The MetaPack interface will be available in early 2012, allowing OrderFlow users to access the full range of MetaPack couriers.
Update - the MetaPack module has completed testing and is now available.

OrderFlow fulfilment module launched
OrderFlow now supports range of features designed specifically to support the requirements of complex 3rd party fulfilment operations.
The fulfilment module allows fulfilment houses to give their clients controlled access into OrderFlow and supports a range of "self-service" features that can be used to streamline the take-on of new clients.

FR by Fashion Rocks launch with OrderFlow
FR is the retail and eCommerce brand recently launched by Fashion Rocks, an exciting brand that merges the worlds of fashion and music via global events in aid of charity.
Realtime Despatch worked with Fashion Rocks to implement the warehouse management and order processing system that supports the FR website.

Absolute Balls implement OrderFlow
Absolute Balls, specialist suppliers of golfing 'lake balls' have chosen Realtime Despatch to support their warehouse and order processing operations.
They needed a system that could be implemented quickly, could support DPD and Royal Mail integration and would allow them to manage the process of cleaning, sorting and grading the incoming stock.
OrderFlow will be integrated with their current website and will also support the migration to a new ECommerce platform over the summer.

Configurable graphs and reporting 'widgets' available as dashboard views
The OrderFlow dashboard views can now include configurable 'widgets' that show the key information most important to a particular user.
The dashboard widgets can be zoomable graphs showing activity over time, exception reports that help identify potential problems or summaries that gives you a high level picture of activity in a particular area of the system.
Customised dashboards can be configured for specific users, allowing different parts of your organisation to focus on the operations that they are responsible for or which are most important to your business.

eBuyNow, a solution spanning five continents
We're working with eBuyNow to implement a multi-site system across all their warehousing operations.
The eBuyNow solution enables companies to quickly implement their own branded online stores and sell across borders to over 181 countries, in 44 currencies and 41 languages – all through a single licensing agreement.
The OrderFlow system will be rolled out across their warehouses in Europe, China, the US, Russia and Brazil.

The new OrderFlow warehouse management platform is launched
We're proud to announce the launch of the new OrderFlow platform. OrderFlow is the culmination of a year long project which has completely redesigned the old Realtime Despatch system.
It has undergone extensive testing and has now been running in a live environment for over a month.

My Tuxedo
My Tuxedo have implemented Realtime Despatch in time to support their move to a new warehouse. The first step is to introduce barcoding across their product range to give full inventory control.
They will be implementing further elements of RTD when their new e-commerce platform is launched.

Pentagon Direct
Pentagon Direct have chosen Realtime Despatch to manage their warehouse and order processing. Realtime Despatch will provide a single backend for four different Magento stores run by Pentagon.
Sage integration will update the "quantity on order" figure in the warehouse when a supplier order is raised in Sage and allow the use of Sage GRNs to credit stock in the warehouse when the goods arrive.

Electric Shopping project
The Electric Shopping website is soon to be relaunched on the Magento platform, using our XML interface to pass orders to Realtime Despatch.
The project is particularly exciting for us as it will be the first to use Realtime Despatch 2, a complete rewrite of our current platform.
Realtime Despatch 2 makes extensive use of modern Ajax technology to provide a more intuitive user interface. The new system's modular design makes it far easier for us to introduce custom functionality to suit the specific requirements of different clients.
For Electric Shopping this means support for a completely paperless pick and pack environment that is driven by touch screens.

ProFS launch service in Zurich
ProFS have opened a new distribution centre in Zurich as part of their continued growth program.

The flexibility and design of Realtime Despatch is a key factor in the enabling us to launch this new centre with minimal impact on existing operations"

RTD is used to manage their warehousing and despatch operations across all four ProFS distribution centres in Jersey, Guernsey, Cardiff and Zurich. The Swiss centre will use Realtime Despatch to support integration with Swiss Post services and bulk T1 shipments direct into the EU.

Impala 1.0 released
Phil Zoio, the technical lead at Realtime Despatch and creator of Impala, has announced the 1.0 release of this open source framework Impala is a dynamic modules framework based on the popular Spring Framework.

Impala is a key technology at Realtime Despatch in that it allows us to develop new software quickly and in a very modular way. This makes it possible for us to offer highly customised enhancements without impacting the core software or other custom extensions. This capability gives us the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our customers without compromising quality.

Magento integration module
The new module allows Magento users to integrate with Realtime Despatch by simply installing the package extension within Magento in the usual way. Product and order information is passed to Realtime Despatch as it is created within the Magento environment.
Users within Realtime Despatch can request that Magento take payment through the relevant payment gateway when the stock is available. As soon as the payment confirmation is received from Magento the order is released for processing.
Changes in the order status and the courier tracking reference are passed back to Magento automatically.

Welcome to our new website, designed and built by our friends over at custardfish.
Ipswich Web Designers custardfish worked extremely closely with us. Throughout the whole design process their ability to understand what was required, interpret our feedback and then produce fantastic designs made the whole project easy.
It's a huge improvement on our original website - we hope you like the final results as much as we do.

Warehouse cross docking implemented
The warehouse module now supports the cross docking of incoming stock.
Incoming stock can be automatically associated with the orders that have been waiting for it, avoiding the double handling associated with putting stock away in the warehouse and then immediately picking it again.

Printserver technology introduced for high volume printing
The Realtime Despatch system now supports the use of local printservers for high volume environments.
The print server runs on the warehouse LAN, print jobs are automatically downloaded to the local environment as soon as the order is received into the Realtime Despatch environment, ensuring that the paperwork is printed as fast as possible when it's required.

Professional Fulfilment Services choose our hosted service
PFS offer fulfilment services for over 25 online retailers from their operating centres in Cardiff, Jersey and Guernsey. After a two month evaluation in Guernsey, the Realtime Despatch service is now being rolled out across all three locations.
Key requirements for PFS were the ability of Realtime Despatch to provide comprehensive inventory management, support for many different order formats received from their clients and XML interface options for larger clients.
