The Realtime Despatch system provides a wide range of integration options, from simple CSV file imports and exports to fully automated XML data transfers.
XML
Realtime data exchanges with remote systems over a secure password protected link. XML can be used to receive incoming order and return updated to the status of the orders and stock levels.
CSV
Simple and widely supported. CSV files can be manually uploaded or Realtime Despatch can be configured to automatically pull CSV files from remote FTP servers. Products and warehouse locations can be created through a CSV file import. All the data available with Realtime Despatch can be saved and exported as a CSV custom report.
ODBC
If the Realtime Despatch system is on the same server as the third party system it is communicating with ODBC database links can be used to import order and product definitions.
Cart Integrator
We have developed a ECommerce cart integration tool that can be used to pass product definitions and orders to Realtime Despatch. If the third party system cannot support XML directly the cart integrator can interrogate the third party database using standard SQL queries and pass the required XML data on to Realtime Despatch.
